Judith E. "Judy" Lawrence, 70, of Bartonville, Illinois passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the Richard Owens Hospice Home in Peoria surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 31, 1946 in Canton, Illinois to Merle and Dorothy (Davis) Reneau. She married James Lawrence on June 26, 1971 in Peoria, Illinois. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Brett and Chad Lawrence both of Bartonville. She has three grandchildren, Zachary, Braedon and Payton Lawrence; four brothers, Harry Reneau of Groveland, Warren Reneau of West LaFayette, Indiana, Mark Reneau of Canton and Gary Reneau of Washington, Illinois; one sister, Martha Sepich of St. David, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Judy worked as a secretary at Keystone Steel and Wire Company and the Abraham Amusement Company for many years. She loved her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing with her husband, gardening and taking care of her flowers. She attended Christ Lutheran Church in Peoria.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church in Peoria. The Rev. Karl Eckhoff will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Burial will be in the Swan Lake Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church.
