He was born on April 21,1953 in Peoria to Claire and Mary (Tortat) Clark. They preceded him in death.
Surviving is his daughter, Charity (Bob) Long of Cuba, his ex-wife and best friend, Cindy Clark, one grandson, Taylor Long, two great granddaughters, two sisters, Helen Crum, Carol (Elliot) Parker, brother-in-law, LeRoy Peacock, nephew, Matthew Crum and close friend, Stephen “Craig” Craig along with many other nieces and nephews.
Also preceding him in death is his father-in-law and mentor, Gerald “Gerry” Law and his wife, Mary, and one sister, Rosemary Peacock.
Steven was a successful property developer/consultant and passionate about his work. He built his business from the ground up and took pride in what he did, always giving 1000%. During his career he met and worked with many great people all over the United States, primarily in Illinois and Arkansas.
He enjoyed traveling, music, spending time with his family and friends, feeding his horse Dually apples and playing with his grand dogs, Sabella and Twerp.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton per his wishes. The family will be having a party in his honor at a later date. Please subscribe to his obituary on the funeral home web site to receive notifications of the party schedule.
