Sharon Pasley Baxter

Canton- Sharon Pasley Baxter, 70, of Canton, passed away at 2:06 AM on Monday July 25, 2022 at Graham Hospital. She was born on April 6, 1952, a daughter of Luther and Edith (Thompson) Werry. She married Russell Eugene Baxter on June 23, 2014 in Lewistown, IL. He preceded her in death on April 1, 2021.

Also preceding her in death were both of her parents; and her brother Marshall Werry.

Surviving are her three sons, Van J. Pasley of Canton, Troy J. Pasley of Canton, and Jeremy F. L. (Molly) Pasley of East Peoria; two grandchildren, Landon Pasley and Taylor Hahn; three great grandchildren; her nephew Donnie Werry Jr.; her niece Sharon Werry; and her brother Donnie Werry of Lewistown.

Sharon worked as a Registered Nurse for many years before retiring from the profession. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Canton, and she loved spending her free time outdoors. Some of her favorite outdoor activities included camping and playing with her grandkids.
