Ronald L. Stout

Lewistown-Ronald L. Stout, 72, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.

He was born on June 10, 1949.
He married Phyllis Berry on June 11, 1988. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Toby Stout of Montreal, MO, Jamy (Philip) Perkins of Ozark, MO, Josh (Angela) Stout of Kilbourne, IL, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Stout, one daughter, Jody Heye and one brother Gus.
Ron was a member of the Illinois Trapper's Association and Whitetail Unlimited. He donated to the Wounded Warriors foundation. He loved trapping, hunting and fishing. In his spare-time he liked to sharpen knives, and piddle in his shed. He was a good cook. He always brought his famous baked beans to every family get together.
Cremation rites have been accorded through the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Please subscribe to his obituary on the funeral home website to receive updates.
