Charlotte "Joan" Carter

Charlotte "Joan" Carter, 90, of Peoria, passed away at 3:30 a.m., on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Farmington Country Manor. She was born December 24, 1930, in Fulton County, to Gilbert and Margaret (Spence) Morgan. She married Eugene Carter on October 22, 1949. He preceded her in death on November 26, 2018.

Charlotte is survived by two children, Diann (Lester) Carey of Sycamore, IL, and Stephen Carter of Elmwood; one brother, Stephen Morgan; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Charlotte is also preceded in death by her parents; and eight siblings.
A private burial will be held at Elmwood Township Cemetery.
