Mary M. Bankert

Farmington - Mary M. Bankert, 78, of Farmington, passed away, Saturday October 23, 2021, at Renaissance Care Center in Canton.

She was born on September 11, 1943, to James Fitch and Edna (Yocum). They preceded her in death along with two brothers, Charles, and Russell Fitch and two sisters Pat (James) Althiser and Naomi (Carl) Watkins.
Mary is survived by her husband, Dennis Bankert, whom she married on July 26, 1964, at the Christian Church in Canton.
Also surviving are two sons, Timothy Allen (Lisa Ann) Bankert of Canton and Kevin Eugene (Jennifer Jean) Bankert of Canton., four grandchildren, Amanda Sue (Deigo) Perez, Tiffany (Gage) Meyers, Kristina (Jesse Parm) Bankert, and Kolt Michael Allen, 9 great grandchildren, and two sisters, Shirley (Matt) Bouc, and Judy (Robert) Moore.
Mary worked at Kitchen Cooked in Farmington for 12 years. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping and fishing and most of all she loved being with all her family.
Cremation rites will be accorded a celebration of life will be held at a later date as well as a burial of her ashes at White Chapel Memory Gardens.
