Canton- Donna Keime, 89 of Canton, IL, passed away at 10:37 PM on Thursday October 21, 2021. Donna was born on August 22, 1932, in Canton, IL. to Ronald and Mary (Johnson) Keefauver. She married the love of her life, Bobby L. Keime on September 30, 1951 in Cuba. He preceded her in death on September 17, 2011.
She was also preceded in death one grandson, one niece, and one nephew.
Donna, affectionately known as “Mimi” to many, is survived by her twins, son, Robert of Wee-Ma-Tuk, and daughter, Rebecca of Wichita, KS; four grandkids Matthew (Sarah) Keime, Ellen (Matt) Fulton, Christa (Jeff) Taylor, and Eric Soule; three great- grandkids, Amelia Fulton, Cash Fulton, and Elaina Taylor; one brother Gary (Ann) Keefauver; one niece, Andrea (Brad) Hart, one nephew, Timothy (Dr. Susan Price) Keefauver; two great nieces, Cassie (Rodney) Clayton, and Catlin (Steven) Leingang.
Donna worked at the Coleman Clinic in Canton for 47 years, retiring as the Clinic Administrator. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Canton where she served on the board. Donna was YWCA Women of the year in 1982, YWCA past board member, Graham Hospital volunteer, member of the Medical Group Manager’s Association, Illinois Clinic Managers Association, American Association of Medical Assistance, where she was a past state secretary.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday October 27,2021, at Sedgwick Funeral Homes and Crematory, Canton, IL. Visitation will be held one hour before the service. Pastor Shalom Renner will officiate. Burial will follow in Fiatt Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Wesley United Methodist Church.
