Michael DelMastro
St. David –Michael “Mike” DelMastro, 88, of St. David, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at the Renaissance Care Center.
He was born on December 22, 1929, St. David, to Michael and Mary (Klobuchar) DelMastro Sr. They preceded him in death.
He married Judith Brannan, October 10, 1958. She preceded him in death on May 4, 2017.
Also surviving are three sons, Kevin (Christine) DelMastro of Lewistown, Nic (Diane) DelMastro of Indiana, Troy (Amy Vignassi) DelMastro of Pekin. Grandchildren, Korey (Mandy) DelMastro, Ashley DelMastro, Nicole (Joel) Lesher, Amanda DelMastro and Torri DelMastro. Great grandchildren, Morgan DelMastro, , Ellisa Hadsall and Zackary Hadsall. Sister Mary Ellen Deushane of St. David.
Mike was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. He worked as a welder at International Harvester. He enjoyed RVing, spending time with his grandkids and all the neighborhood cats and dogs, taking in any stray they found.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Monday, March 12, 2017, at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a visitation one-hour prior at the funeral home.
Cremation rites have been accorded and burial of the ashes will be held at the White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton following the services.
Memorials can be made to Renaissance Care Center or Harbor Light Hospice.
