Canton – Helen Elizabeth Elliott, 93, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Washington Reflections Memory Care in Washington.
She was born on August 14, 1924, in Fulton County to Harve and Ada Pearl (Johnson) Simpson.
She married Robert Elliott on October 6, 1951 in Cuba. He preceded her in death on October 23, 1999.
Surviving are her children, Glenn (Kelly) Elliott of Yuma, AZ, Marilyn (Mike) Tindall of Mapleton, Christy (Bob) McQueary of Eureka, Karen (the late Donald) Lowry of Noblesville, IN, one brother, Robert Simpson of CA, two sisters, Betty Cernich of Farmington, Dorothy Canevit of Fairview, eight grandchildren, Melissa (Scott) Saxe, Chad McQueary, Brandon (Heather) Elliott, Shannon (Matt) Kunkle, Brooke (Brad) Harmeson, Ryan (Suzi) McQueary, Jamie (Chad) Butts, Kesha Steele and nine great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death are four brothers and two sisters.
She also enjoyed Woodworking, Fishing, Bingo and playing cards with her sisters.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April, 2018, from 10-11am at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a funeral service at 11am. Cremation rites will follow the services and a burial of the ashes will be held Greenwood Cemetery in Canton at a later date.
Memorials can be made to the Lewistown VFW.
