Farmington- Linda G. Kling, 74, of Farmington, passed away at 11:05 am, Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at her residence. She was born on April 8, 1942 in Monticello, to Gail and Ruby (Hamm) Collins. Linda married Floyd Kling on November 25, 1969 in Rushville. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1984. Also preceding her in death were her parents, two sons; Robert and Ricky Kling, two brothers; David and George Collins. Surviving are four children; Rodney (Shellie)Kling of Peoria, Stephanie (Jeff) Eoff of Loose Creek, MO, Randy (Mary) Kling of Linn, MO, and Ken Burkema, two sisters; Kathy Mahoney of Arkansas, and Francis Dornburger of Cuba, daughter-in-law Brenda Kling of Fairview, sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
Linda worked as a secretary at an Insurance office in Peoria.
Services will be 11 am Tuesday, January, 17, 2017 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Elmwood. The Rev. Kerry Franz will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
