Dorothy Marie Jacobus

Lewistown – Dorothy Marie Jacobus, 90, of Lewistown, passed away January 20, 2017 at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born July 12, 1926, in Jackson, Minnesota to Henrietta Landis Fillingham and Perry Landis,. She married Gardner J. Jacobus,   He preceded her in death in May of 2002
She is survived by one daughter Janet (Larry) Winship, and one son Dave (Carolyn) Jacobus. Also surviving is one sister Jean Mulligan, one sister in-law Audrey Jacobus, four grandchildren, Amy, Aaron, Derek, and Mark, Three step grandchildren Candace, Carrie, and Derek, Six great grandchildren,  six step great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews
Dorothy attended the Lewistown United Methodist Church, she was a 50 year member of the Lewistown chapter of Eastern Stars and was a Worthy Matron in 1955, she and her husband once owned and operated Hildas Pantry in Lewistown from July of 1967 until August of 1974. She retired in 1992 from Graham Hospital Dietary Department with fourteen years of service.
Funeral services will be held on Monday January 23, at 12:00 Noon at Oaks - Hines Funeral Home in Canton, Where Visitation will be held two hours before the service. The Rev. Deryck Sonaram will officiate Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Children Hospital, or Graham hospital activity fund.
