He is survived by his father and step-mother, Jean Quick; two children, Tim (Mollie) Quick of Waukee, Iowa and Megan (Austin) Ramstad of Kansas City, Missouri; two brothers, James “Mike” Quick of Ellisville, Illinois and Robert “Joe” Quick of Burlington, Iowa; one twin sister, Jeannie Wattles of Rock Springs, Colorado; and eight grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother; one son, John Quick; and one granddaughter, Mollie Quick.
Tom graduated from Cuba High School and Illinois Central College. He first worked for Wiggens Stohr, and later worked as an electrician and refrigeration specialist. He was a past member of the American Legion in Wisconsin. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy Reserve. He was also of the Catholic faith.
Private family graveside service will be held at Wiley Cemetery in Ellisville, IL, at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded through Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL.
