Terry L. Vogelsong, Sr.

Terry L. Vogelsong, Sr., 76, of Manito, passed away at his home at 12:29 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. He was born on October 26, 1948 in Pekin, Illinois to Henry “Hank” and Dorothy Vogelsong.

Terry is survived by his step-son, Nate (Rebecca) Hoyle of Ashland; cousin, Diana Vogelsong; and good friend, Patty Bucholtz. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Terry Vogelsong, Jr.
Terry worked for the state forest as an intermittent laborer and for TPW Railroad on the riptrack. He enjoyed playing pool and riding his motorcycle. He especially loved spending time in the forest and exploring in his side by side.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life is planned for Sunday, October 27, 2025, time and location will be announced at a later date.
