Rosie Marie Teubner

Rosie Marie Teubner, 65, of Manito passed away at Pekin Hospital in Pekin, Illinois on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 9:02 p.m. She was born on May 6, 1959 in Fairfield, Illinois to Charles “Chuck” and Betty (Rhoades) Holmes. She married Steven Leroy McBride in Salem, Arkansas on November 18, 1983 and he preceded her in death.

Rosie is survived by her children, Brittany (Casey) Kosek and Mykal Teubner; granddaughter, Avalynn Teubner; siblings, Betty Mae Medina, Louis Robert Bennett, and Debra Yeboah; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Rosie worked in nursing homes as a caregiver for most of her career. She loved flowers and animals, especially her Pomeranians.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Maas-Hurley Funeral Home in Manito, with a visitation one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow the service at Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Manito.
