She was born on October 19, 1960 in Canton to Wallace and Betty (Fife) Hammond.
She married Jim Helfers on October 16, 2020. He preceded her in death on February 24, 2022.
Surviving is her son Brandon (Krista) Hammond of Norris, one grandchild, Jaclyn Hammond of Lewistown, four step children, Cody Helfers, Heidi Edwards, Heather Helfers, Hailey Helfers and one brother, Wallace Hammond II.
Also preceding her in death is her parents and two sisters, Debra and Yvonne Hammond.
Kim worked at the Fairview Café and enjoyed crafting in her spare time. Most of all she was a loving, mother and grandmother.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial visitation will be held at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024 with a funeral service to follow at 7pm at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.
