Mary Lou Moore

Mary Lou Moore, 81, of Canton, passed away at 6:04 AM on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Red Oak Estates in Canton, IL. She was born on January 13, 1943 in Canton, IL to Vern and Beatrice (Carver) Brewer. She married Bill Moore on February 18, 1962 at the First Christian Church in Canton, IL. He survives.

She is also survived by two children, Gregg Moore and Susan (Daniel) Harn; two grandchildren, Jonathan (Chance) Harn and Tiffany (Tayler) Briney; three great-grandchildren, Riley, Chase, and Zach “Zeke”.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Karen Krieger.

Mary was a member of Lakeland Community Church in Canton, IL. A special thanks to Red Oak Estates in Canton for their kindness.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 6, 2024 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM the same day. Rev. Kevin Van Tine will officiate. Burial will follow service at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton, IL. Memorials may be made to Lakeland Community Church in Canton, IL.
