Larry L. Belless

Larry Lee Belless, 73, of Liverpool passed away at 3:42 PM Thursday September 5, 2024 at his home surrounded by family.


He was born April 24, 1951 at Canton the son of Ernest L. and Zephyr I. (Sanders) Belless. He married Angela K. Painter on July 8, 1983 at Lewistown. She survives along with four children, Mike (Gail) Belless of Abingdon, Heather (James) Groutage of Avon, Heidi (Erich) Thompson of Glasford, Brett (Sam) Belless of Lewistown, ten grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren, one brother, Pete (Missy) Belless of Ipava, three sisters, Sharon (Larry) St. Clair of St. David, Bonnie (James) Robinson of Bloomington, and Mary Belless of Canton. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.


Larry was a Union Laborer and worked through Pekin Local 231. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Army. Larry was a member of the Bryant Christian Church. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and just being outdoors. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends and attending the grandkids sporting events.


Larry’s funeral will be at 12 noon Thursday September 12th at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Pastor Brian Ebert officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until time of service at the memorial home. Following the service, military services will be conducted at the funeral home by the US Army, Lewistown VFW Post 5001, and Lewistown American Legion Bishop Post 1.
