He was born on July 21, 1951 in Beardstown to Guy and Ermond (Wheelhouse) McConahay. They preceded him in death along with one infant brother, Donald McConahay.
He married Rita Grimmer on May 19, 1972 in Rushville. She survives.
Also surviving are four children, Arnold DeVore, of Beardstown, Ann Cook of Cleveland, OK, Kirsten Gustovich of Cutler, OH, Ashley Taff of Grove, OK, one brother, Randy McConahay of Chicago, thirteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
Keith started his working career as a farmer working for Dean Farms, Thompson farms and also himself. He later worked for the U.S. Postal Service as an independent mail contract truck driver from where he retired.
He was a member of the VFW and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
