He was born in Canton, on August 30, 1941, to IB and Mildred (Curtis) Noland. They preceded him in death as well as three brothers, Gilbert, Carroll, and Melvin, four sisters, Donna, Karen, Judy, and Doris, and two step sons, Brian and Scott McGinnis.
Larry is survived by his wife Karen (Dearing) Noland, two sons, Jeff (Kris) Noland, and Derrick (Carol) Noland, one step son John (Liz) McGinnis, one brother Danny (Sue) Noland, six grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Larry first started Canton Appliance Center. He later owned and operated A1 Service Appliance Repair for many years. He attended the Canton Assembly of God Church and was a member of Black Diamond Archery Range, and he was one of the last living founding members of the Central Illinois Bow Hunters. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, golfing, and most of all, spending time with his family.
Memorials may be made to Black Diamond Archery Range or to Central Illinois Bow Hunters.
Cremation rites will be accorded with Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
