Larry Lee Collins, 80, of Havana passed away at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Mason District Hospital in Havana. He was born on November 23, 1941 in White City, Illinois to Ernest and Maudie (McDaniel) Collins. He married Jeanette Loveland on December 28, 2005 in Havana.Larry is survived by his wife, Jeanette Collins of Havana; children, Terry (Kelly) Collins of Canton, Linda (Rick) Richard of Chandlerville, Dena Thompson of Kilbourne, Leah Collins of Havana, Tina Collins of Kilbourne, Larry Lynn Collins of Arkansas, and Matthew Collins of Havana; step-children, Barb Long of Canton and Bob Long of Canton; several grandchildren; and brothers, Kenny (Brenda) Collins of Chandlerville and Mike (Sherry) Collins of Chandlerville. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kevin Collins; brothers, Bill Collins and Jim Collins; and sisters, Margaret Kirchner and Margie Hooker.
Larry was a member of the Havana Christian Church. He worked as a mechanic for Stelter-Hofreiter for 41 years. He enjoyed bowling, duck hunting, and pheasant hunting, and was a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Cremation rites have been accorded and no services are planned at this time.
