Daniel L. Weaver

WILMINGTON - Daniel L. Weaver, 69, passed away on August 18, 2022 at his home. He was born June 13, 1953 in Canton to Herman and Grace (Hagney) Weaver. They preceded him in death. Surviving are two brothers: Kenny (Maggie) Weaver of Peoria, and Wayne (Cindy) Weaver of Canton, and three sisters: Nancy (Bob) Neel of Fairview, Janet (Mike Hartzell) Rock of Canton, and Julie Ball of Canton., and special friend Wanda Schuck and her children Claude, Calista and Charley of Wilmington. A brother, David G. Weaver, preceded him in death along with his brother-in-law, Frank Ball.

After graduating from Canton Senior High School, Danny worked on local farms for a few years. He became employed by Northern Petrochemical of Mapleton and later transferred with the plant to the Lemont area. He retired from Northern Petrochemical in 2016.
Danny was an avid duck hunter at Rice Lake for many years.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. There will be no visitation. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton has been entrusted with arrangements.
Memorials can be made to the Norris Volunteer Fire Department.
