Ava Grace Cornell was born sleeping on August 19. 2022 at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL.

She is survived by her parents, David and Jordyn (Peterson) Cornell of Springfield; maternal grandparents, Tammy and Rudi Reid of Charleston; paternal grandparents, Arthur and Cecilia Cornell of Springfield; and her maternal great grandparents, Charlotte and Billy Melton of Petersburg. Ava was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Bill Peterson; and her maternal great grandfather, James Tippett Sr.
