Rena L. Gunter

Rena L. Gunter, 23, of Brimfield, passed away at 7:03 p.m., on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at her home.

She was born on August 1, 1998, in Peoria, to Martin Behnke and Tonja Gunter. They survive. She was loved and cared for by many extended family members; Paul and Judy Gunter, grandma and grandpa, Paula and Steve, Steve and Faye, Randy and Liz, Kathi and Mark Gorrell, Annie and Dave Park, Matt and Sheri Behnke, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Rena was involved with Best Buddies of Central Illinois and P.U.P.S. (People with Unlimited Potentials). She was also a member of the Brimfield Union Church. She was always happy natured.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Elmwood. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Cottonwood Cemetery.
