James C. Hill

Canton - James Clyde Hill, 67, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Graham Hospital in Canton.

He was born on August 5, 1953 in Canton.
Surviving is his mother Eula Lee Largent (Hill), two children, Angelia (John) Ellis of Smithfield, Steven (Amy) Hill of Morton, one sister, Diana (Bob) Scharp of Greenville, IL, grandchildren, Chloe, Cash, Kinley, Bradlee, Bo and Berkley and one nephew, Rob Scharp.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde D. Hill.
He graduated from Canton High School in 1972 and was a member of the wrestling and track teams. He then attended computer school in Indiana before he worked as a Deputy Sheriff for Fulton County and later as a self-employed carpet cleaner for Rainbow Carpet.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton and a burial of ashes will be held at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
