Canton- Lorraine M. Fengel, 86, passed away Sunday July 15, 2018, at O.S.F. Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born on April 26, 1932 in Estherville Iowa to Jimmy and Vivian (Kathman) Walsh. They preceded her in death.
She married Blake Fengel on June 12, 1954 in Canton. He survives.
Also surviving is one son Brian (Tanya) Fengel of Bartonville, two sisters Dixie Guss of Scottsdale AZ, and Judy Jenkins of Peoria, and two grandchildren, Emily and Blake Fengel.
Preceding her in death are two sisters Carol Peacock and Marilyn Laird.
Lorraine worked for AT&T as an operator and service representative and was a member of the Telephone Pioneer Club. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canton, Sigma Phi Gamma, CWA (Communication Workers Association), and she loved china painting and bowling.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, where visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, from 5 until 7 p.m.
Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
Memorials may be made out to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
