Lewistown – Bernard D. Skiles, 75, of Lewistown passed away at 12:15 am Saturday, July 14, 2018 at his residence. He was born on October 16, 1942 in Warren County to John and Irma (Schisler) Skiles. Bernard married Agnes Matthews on December 15, 1968 in Tampa, FL. She survives along with four children; Duane E. Skiles of Canton, Tammy M. Seck of Springfield, Brian K. Skiles of Canton and Natalie S. Boeding of Washington, IL. two sisters; Maralyn McSperitt of Adair and Karen Brobston of Gerlaw, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Bernard was a machinist at Caterpillar Inc. for 30 years. He attended Covenant Community Fellowship and was an Army Veteran.
