Canton – Ramona L. Anderson, 63, of Canton, passed away at 1:53 AM on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Graham Hospital in Canton, Illinois. She was born on September 28, 1954 in Houston, Texas. She grew up in Hanna City, IL, raised by her loving parents Larry and Alice (Simonson) Simpson. She married Roger Anderson on January 13, 1991 in Farmington, IL, he survives.
Also surviving are three children; Amos (Annette) Anderson of Canton, Alichia (Terry) Terreteta of Canton, and Bret (Wendy) Anderson of Pekin; nine grandchildren; four brothers, Lyle, Steve, Micky, and Rocky; three sisters, Susie, Cindy, and Marnajean.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Randy, and Hubert.
Ramona was a homemaker. She loved her family and was a big animal lover.
Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory, Canton, IL. A memorial service at the Calvary Baptist Church in Canton will be held at a later date. A burial of ashes at White Chapel Memory gardens will also be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
