Joyce E. Romine, 78, of Canton, passed away at 7:00 PM on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Graham Hospital in Canton. She was born on April 1, 1939 in Canton, a daughter of Herbert and Fern (Roberts) Post. She married Ronald Romine on July 30, 1955 in Canton. He survives.
Also surviving are her daughter, Deborah “Debbie” Ryan of Canton; three grandchildren, Allison (Max) Huskey, Jeffery “Jeff” (Kate) Ryan, and Scott Romine; two great-grandchildren, Kimberly and Brooke Hendricks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Douglas Allen Romine, and one sister, Barbara Smith.
Joyce enjoyed being a Homemaker and taking care of her family over the years, she was a past member of the First Baptist Church in Canton, and a member of the Red Hat GO-GO Girls Club.
Private family graveside service and burial will be held on Thursday, February, 22, 2018 at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. Rev. Kevin VanTine will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded through Sedgwick Funeral Homes and Crematory in Canton. A celebration of life will be held from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the Canton Elks Lodge.
