Canton – John C. Branstetter, 52, of Canton, passed away Tuesday February 6, 2018 at his residence in Canton.
He was born on May 12, 1965 to Ralph and Nancy (Brookham) Branstetter. They survive.
Also surviving are two children Emily Branstetter and Christopher Branstetter, two step children, Alicia Barnett and Addie Collins, two sisters, Terri Branstetter of Canton and Nancy (Damon) Bishop of Cibolo, Texas, six nieces and nephews, five grandchildren and the mother of his children Sheila Anderson.
John enjoyed fishing, mushrooming, hunting, being outdoors, cooking watching NASCAR especially Dale Earnhardt. John worked as a meat cutter at IGA, HyVee and later worked at Kroger in Canton.
A visitation will be held Friday February 9, 2018 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton from 5 until 7 p.m. there will be a celebration of life held on Saturday February 10, 2018 at the American Legion in Canton at 2 p.m.
Memorials may be made out to St. Jude’s Children’s hospital or to Kemmy’s Kennels in Lewistown.
