Sally J. Barnett, 72 of Canton, passed away at 11:20 PM on Friday, September 29, 2017 at her residence. She was born on December 30, 1944 in Peoria, a daughter of Raymond and Helen (Boughan) Finley. She married the love of her life Harold Barnett on October 19, 1963 in Canton. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, William Barnett, Sonja (Barnett- Baker) Strubbe, Annette (Blake) Myers and Douglas Barnett all of Canton; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and one sister Vicki Daily of Canton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Harold Barnett Jr.; three grandchildren and one sister, Joan Turley.
Sally graduated Canton High School, was a homemaker, and was of the Nazarene Faith, she enjoyed traveling and fishing, was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan, and she loved to be near her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials can be made to St Jude’s Children Hospital. To leave online condolences please visit www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
