Morgan Kay Bick

Canton – Morgan Kay Bick, 18, of Canton, passed away at 12:30 AM on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Graham Hospital E.R. She was born on August 15, 1998 in Canton to Joseph M. (Teresa) Bick of Canton and Melissa (Steven Slayback) Ward.

Surviving her parents, Joseph M. (Teresa) Bick and Melissa (Steven) Ward-Slayback; three brothers, Tyler Bick of Ipava, Kyle Bick of Cuba, and Steven Slayback Jr. of Macomb; one sister, Sophia Slayback of Macomb; maternal grandparents, Michael E. and Vickie Ward of Vermont; maternal great-grandmother, Alice Wilson of Cuba; several aunts and uncles, Michael and Lynn Ward of Brereton, Angela Ward of Liverpool, Christina Ward of Banner, and Laura and Terry Utsinger of Ellisville; and several cousins.

Morgan was a senior at Canton High School. She attended Evangelical Free Church in Canton. Morgan always wanted to be a vet. She loved her animals.

Funeral service will be held at 7 PM on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL, where a visitation will be held from 5-7 PM. Pastor Donnie Case will officiate. Burial will follow at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Memorials can be made to Fulton County Humane Society.
