Frances Joann Grigsby

Cuba – Frances Joann Grigsby, 81, of Cuba, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at the Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born on January 19, 1936 in Canton, to John and Jean (Pollitt) Dick.  They preceded her in death.
She married Fred O. Grigsby Sr. on November 12, 1954.  He preceded her in death in May of 2014.
Surviving are her children, Jim Grigsby of Cuba, Peggy (Bob) Malott of Canton, Patti Hartman of Canton, Diana Grigsby of Canton, brother John Dick of Evanston, sisters Judith (Jim) Frank of Dunfermline, Sierra Borden of TX, grandchildren, Kathy (Jake) Williams, Brandy (Karson) Kolditz, Sam Chambers, Jacqueline (Bradley) Black, Danielle Hartman, Michael (Marla) Grigsby and 15 great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death is her son Fred Grigsby Jr, 2 brothers and one sister.
Frances enjoyed to crochet, garden and canning.
Most of all she enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at 1 pm, at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.  There will be no visitation.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials can be made St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
