Catherine L. Ruark

Canton – Catherine L. Ruark, 57, of Canton, passed away at 10:47 PM on Friday, May 19, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on September 6, 1959 in Havana, IL to Raymond and Nancy (Burgess) Howell. She married Richard Ruark on February 28, 1976 at Table Grove Community Church, he survives.
Surviving are six children, Richard, Jason, Billy Joe, Wesley, Chad (Anna), Curtis (Charlotte) Ruark all of Canton; three sisters Laura Howell, Angie (Kevin) Grigsby, Crystal (Carl) Parrish all of Lewistown; and six grandchildren.
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild.
Catherine enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, canning and fishing. She also loved time with her grandchildren.
