Farmington-Larry Landis Jr, of Farmington, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at his residence.
He was born on July 8, 1962 in Pekin, to Larry and Ruth (Price) Landis. They preceded him in death.
Surviving is his companion of 23 years, Teresa Foster, daughter Melissa Garrison of Pekin, Sister Joyce (Stephen) Baile of GA and grandchildren, Noah Walraven, Nicolas Walraven, Natalee Bethel, Jaxsyn Everett and his dog Lucky.
Larry had a passion for sports, especially the Cubs. He enjoyed gardening, mushrooming and doing yard work.
Most of all he was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved being with children and animals.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017, from noon to 2pm, at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a funeral service to be held at 2 pm.
Cremation rites will be accorded following the service with the burial of the ashes to be at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Farmington.
Memorial may be made to the family.
