Cuba- Donna J. Lasswell, 91, of Cuba, passed away at 11:08 AM Saturday May 13, 2017 at the Clayberg Nursing Home.
She was born June 26, 1925 at Fiatt, the daughter of Joseph and Wave (Bobo) Melvin. She married Harold Eldon Lasswell on September 27, 1942 at Kahoka, MO. He preceded her in death on October 5, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Ronald Lasswell, one great granddaughter, and one sister. Survivors include one son, Roger (Sue) Lasswell of Cuba, five grandchildren, Mark (Amy) Lasswell, Brian Lasswell, and Jacki (Kevin) Scharping all of Cuba, Crissi (Jesse) Soeffker of Buffalo, MN; and Jeni (Nick) Mavetz of Shakopee, MN; ten great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Donna was a member of the Cuba American Legion Auxiliary, and was also a Cub Scout Den Mother. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and being with her grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba, where visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Putman Twp. Park District. Condolences may be made at henrylange.com
