Wanda Lingenfelter

Norris – Wanda M. Lingenfelter, 82, of Norris, passed away, on Saturday, January 16, 2016, at the OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria.
She was born on March 8, 1933, in Hurdlan, Missouri, to Lawrence and Bertha (Todd) Williams.  They preceded her in death.
She married Wendyl Lingenfelter on September 14, 1952 in Edwards, IL.  He preceded her in death on October 9, 2015.
Surviving are her children, Randy (Karen) Lingenfelter of Washington, IL, Lyndel (Roxana) Lingenfelter of Canton, Bryan Lingenfelter of Hollister, MO., Cheryl King of Longmont, CO., brothers, Perry (Arline) Williams of Rochester, IL., Dennis (Beverly) Williams of Lewistown, sisters, Verna (Paul) Mathenia of Staunton, IL., LaNeta Williams of Carlinville, IL., seven grandchildren, Shawn, Sherry, James, Robert, Jeffrey, Wilson, Nolan and ten great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death is her brother, Darrell Williams and sisters, Margaret Williams, Diana Ayres and Della Wettstein.
Wanda was a cook at Joe’s Place in Norris for over 20 years.  She actively attended the Norris United Methodist Church, but most of all she was a loving mother and grandmother.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016, from 5-7, at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton.  The funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home.  The Rev. Randy Lingenfelter will be officiating.
Burial will be at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
Memorials may be made to the Norris United Methodist Church.
