Canton – Iona Ladd, 85, of Buchanan, TN, formally of Canton, passed away at 11:56 AM on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at her residence. She was born on July 10, 1930 in Fulton County to Ellis and Opal (Trobaugh) Myers. She married Donald Ladd on November 3, 1964, he preceded her in death on August 8, 2007.
Also preceding her in death are her parents; two sons, Darynn “Grizz” Romine and Darryl “Curly” Romine; and three brothers, Ellis Myers, Robert Myers, and Donnie Myers.
Surviving are two sons, Dennis (Linda) Romine of Wausau, WI, and Danny (Kim) Ladd of Buchanan, TN; one step-son, Jack (Marilyn) Ladd of Mountain Home, AR; two step-daughters, Joyce (David) Odewalt of Hanna City, IL and Judy Clark of Hanna City, IL; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, JoAnn Thomas of Canton, IL;
Services will be at 2 PM on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home in Canton, where a visitation will be from 12-2 PM. Rev. Dennis Romine will officiate.
