Michael Kent "Mikey" Malone

Havana- Michael Kent “Mikey” Malone, 81, of Havana, passed away at 1:35 AM on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Graham Hospital in Canton. He was born on March 10, 1941 in Canton, a son of Chester and Charlotte (Mustard) Malone. He married Sally Ann Bright on May 23, 1998 in Havana. She survives.

Also surviving are his step-children, Ben (Dawnyetta Manard) Westfall of Griggsville, Illinois; Deanna (R.D.) Brown of Bluffs, Illinois; Annie Westfall of Bluffs, Illinois; Craig Westfall of Valley City, Illinois; ten grandchildren, Erin, Jake, Eli, Morgan, Charlene Jean, Gage, Brock, Chandler, Alec, Dalton; and two great-grandchildren, Ezra Earl, and Elisa June.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one step-son Tommy, whom he raised, and one grandson, Austin, whom passed away in March of 2022.

Mike worked and retired from Caterpillar, Inc. after 40 years of service, was of the Baptist faith, and was very supportive of VFW posts over the years. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan, and loved all sports.
