Beverly is survived by her sons, Aaron Edwards and Newt Lash, both of Springfield and Buddy (Lori) Lash of Pleasant Plains; sister, Joan Edwards of Havana; and brother, Danny Edwards of O’Fallon, Missouri, several nieces and nephews, an army of cousins and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Dottie Edwards.
Beverly worked as a CNA at several hospitals and nursing homes in Springfield, and also worked as a
security guard before she retired. She had the heart of a servant and loved to crochet and knit baby blankets and hot pads to donate for friends and strangers. She also volunteered at St. John’s Breadline in Springfield.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a burial will be held at a later date at Campbell Cemetery in
Loami, Illinois.
Memorial donations may be made in Beverly’s name to the donor's choice. Online condolences can
