Betsy L. Bennett

Betsy L. Bennett, 72, of Canton, passed away at 10:13 PM on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on December 31, 1949 in Richmond, Virginia, a daughter of Marvin and Margaret (Hinchee) Marvel.

Surviving her is her son, Michael Bennett of Canton; her three brothers; Donald (Robbie) Marvel of Peoria; Bill (Cheryl) Marvel; David (Rebecca) Marvel; and her sister Linda (Ed) Madtson, all of Canton.

Throughout her lifetime Betsy worked as a CNA for Sunset Nursing Home and also helped with the Meals on Wheels program at the YWCA. She was a member of the Fiatt Christian Church and also a member of the Farmington Moose Auxiliary.

Graveside services and burial of ashes will take place at 2:30 PM on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Fiatt Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at the Canton American Legion. Rev.
