Danny R. Hoffman, Sr.

Danny R. Hoffman Sr., 73, of Canton, passed away at 11:12 am, Thursday, September 29, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on June 30, 1949 in Pekin to Betty Hoffman. Danny married Marilyn Schwindenhammer. She preceded him in death. He later married Lesa Smith on October 13, 2007 in Nauvoo, IL, she survives along with six children; Danny Hoffman Jr of Lewistown, Ann Marie Pasley of Canton, Richard Horvath Jr. of Cuba, Shane Horvath of Pensacola, Fl, Justin Horvath of Champaign and Ryan Edwards of Woodland, Tn, step-father Walter Bair of Canton, step-brother Bruce Bair of Bartonville, half-brother Michael Bair of Canton, half-sister Michele Olson of Canton, fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and his triplets, two boys and one girl.

Danny retired from Caterpillar Inc. in 1995 after 30 years of service. He was an Army Veteran. Danny was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Services will be 11 am Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton, where visitation will be 1 hour prior to services. Burial will follow in Fiatt Cemetery in Fiatt.
