Ronald Edmonson

Ronald James Edmonson, 74, of London Mills, died at his home on December 10 2021.He was born in Canton IL on May 4, 1947. He was proceeded in death by his parents Keith and Margaret. Ron has 3 children Courtney Loughrey (Jack) of Edwards IL, Kent of Media IL ,Colby of Chicago IL. Two grandchildren Taylor Williams and Cayden Boyer. He has 2 siblings, Dianna Reed (Arnie deceased) of Fairborn Ohio and Lonnie (Sharron) of Ellisville IL. He was married to Rhonda Williamson for 17 years (divorced) and Jackie Trego (divorced). Ron had two close friends Jerry, Janet Barkley and Kenny Baker who watched over him in his failing years. He was a graduate of Spoon river valley school and was active in basketball and the FFA. He showed Suffolk sheep, where he won grand champion at a local Fulton county fair. He was a Vietnam Vet (Navy). He spent most of his life being involved in agriculture field as a crop consultant, managing a fertilizer plant and working for local farmers. He had a big love for animals. Cremation rites have been accorded there will be no services. A private burial will take place at a later date.
