Cheyenne is survived by her parents, grandparents, Michael and Rita Wilkinson; two sisters, Mikayla L. (Joseph W. Knott) Edwards and Destiney D. (Makayla J. Stockov) Cozad; one brother, William T. Edwards; one uncle, Brett M. (Tiffany L.) Wilkinson; two cousins, Brock A. (Elizabeth M.A.) Wilkinson and Trent M. (Brittany A. Krampe) Wilkinson; and fiancé, Quentin Burkett.
She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Vernon L. and Blanche S. Wilkinson; uncle, R. Brice
Wilkinson; and one aunt, Brenda M. Wilkinson.
Cheyenne was a compassionate supporter of organ donation. She informed everyone, including the state, of her intent to donate. She would be thrilled to know that she helped so many people to enjoy a better quality of life. She also loved animals, especially her rescue dog, Lola, and her cats, Gateway (now deceased) and Vegas. But the greatest joy in her life was her fiancé, Quentin. They were planning an exciting life together, their own apartment, facing the world united, and starting a family. The future was bright. But Cheyenne also realized unforeseen events change things. She lost loved ones in the past and preferred to think that death is not “life is over” but death is just” “Life interrupted. “
A private family visitation will be held at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL following services. Memorials may be made out to the family.
