Arnold A. Abbott

Arnold Andrews Abbott, also known as Andy, 39, of Fairview, passed away at 1:50 p.m., on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at OSF Saint Francis Hospital in Peoria. He is the husband of Britney Reeder-Abbott of Fairview, IL. They shared almost 6 years together. Andy was born in Cullman, AL. He was the son of William and Donna Abbott of Hanceville, AL. He was an over-the-road truck driver. He loved his family, but he loved driving that truck!

Andy was a member of the American Legion Post 644. He also enjoyed spending time at the Reeder Farm, playing on the tractors. He also enjoyed taking his family on vacations. Andy will always be remembered for his smile. He was always happy, and his two kids, Maximus and Ivy, were his whole world. He could make a friend anywhere and bring a smile to their face.
He is survived by his wife, Britney; his children; Maximus and Ivy; his mother and father; his brother Elijah; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter, Ireland Skye Abbott; his brother, William Abbott; his grandparents; aunts; and uncles.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday December 27, 2021, at Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Maximus and Ivy Abbott.
