Joanne Probyn

Joanne Probyn, 90, of Banner, passed away at 2:15 pm, Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Unity Point Health Methodist in Peoria. She was born on September 21, 1930 in Canton to Ernest and Beulah (Nelson) Stevens. Joanne married Jasper Probyn on February 28, 1953 in Canton. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2003. Also preceding her in death were her parents, five sisters and one grandson.
Surviving are three children; David (Susan) Probyn of Banner, Thomas (Terrye) Probyn of Santa Clarita, CA and Lisa Morse of Banner, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Joanne worked at the Peoria State Hospital in Bartonville and later at Caterpillar where she retired, after working for 22 years. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton are in charge of arrangements.
