Born on September 19, 1966 in Canton, IL to Mark Wilkinson and Laura Chipman. She married Tony Spahn on May 18, 1990. He survives in Dunfermline, IL along with two sons, Brandon Spahn and Anthony Spahn; and grandson, Bentley McSchooler of Canton, IL.
Also surviving is her mother, Laura (Jim) Hardy of Dunfermline, her father, Mark Wilkinson of Fiatt, one step-brother, Josh Wilkinson of Canton, IL, numerous close relatives and specifically her life partner of six years, Jonnie Blout, to whom the family will always be grateful and love dearly.
Gina was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Gina was a registered nurse who loved working in nursing center facilities and taking care of the elderly. She was always held in high regard as loving, kind, and hopeful to all her patients. Gina was also a co-owner of MOBA Construction in Peoria, IL with Jonnie. She especially loved being “Mimi” to her grandson and cherished her family and sons. Gina also loved vacationing in Florida.
Per Gina’s wishes there will be no visitation or services, and cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL.
