Canton – Tina L. Kleinschmidt, 58, of Canton, passed away at 7:08 PM on Monday, August 14, 2017 at her residence. She was born on September 12, 1958 to Richard and Helen (Putman) Reffett. She married Neil Kleinschmidt on October 20, 1979 in Canton, IL, he survives.
Also surviving are her parents, Richard and Helen; three children, Nikki (Michael) Schulte of Washington D.C., Trisha (Nate) Bostic of Clinton, IL, Ericia (Vince) Stanley of Winter Garden, FL; five grandchildren, Carter, Collin, and Cayden Bostic, Alexander and Christian Schulte; one brother, Scott (Becky) Reffett of Geneva, IL; and one sister, Rhonda (Tim) Haynes of Canton, IL.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Rick Reffett.
Tina recently retired from Lincoln Elementary School in Canton after 27 years. She was looking forward to traveling to spend time with her beloved grandchildren, great nieces, and family. She had a special place in her heart for her dog Tanner and granddogs. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mom, and grandma.
Memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, where a visitation will be held from 1-3 PM at the funeral home. Rev. Dennis Owens will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton.
