Farmington – Jeanette R. Long, 75, of Farmington passed away at 1:25 pm Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the Graham Hospital Emergency Room. She was born on December 2, 1941 in St. David, IL. to Homer and Margaret (Lillie) Mathis. Jeanette married David Long on September 15, 1962 in Canton. He survives along with two children; David Long Jr. of Farmington and Tammy (Chris) Girard of London Mills, two brothers; Gary Mathis of Lewistown, and Gerald Mathis of Dunfermline, two grandchildren; Kyle Girard, and Victoria Goldring, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Robert Mathis, and two sisters; Darlene West, and Beverly Pasley.
There will be a Celebration of Life beginning at 2 pm Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the St. David Optimist Club. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials can be made to the family.
