Canton – Catherine Dorthea “Dottie” Sebree, 90, of Canton passed away Tuesday August 8, 2017 at Red Oak Estates in Canton.
She was born on January 29, 1927 in Avon to Curtis and Jenny (Strode) Bishop.
She married Paul E. Sebree on January 25, 1947 in Kansas City KS, he passed away on May 10, 2002. She later married Loren Danner on December 27, 2006 in Vian, OK. He preceded her in death in October 2012.
She is survived by three children Mark (Caroline) Sebree of Terre Haute, IN, Kathy (the late Donald) Gorsuch of Canton, Debra (James) Cassel of Indianapolis, IN, eight grandchildren, Curtis (Chris) Gorsuch, Brian (Amy) Gorsuch, Kim (Paul) Moffitt, Jennifer (Michael) Stigler, Daniel (Leslie) Gorsuch, Megan (Ryan) Isaacs, Julie (Larry) Richardson, Justin (Samantha) Sebree, twenty one great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and two step children Marty and Stacy Danner.
She was also preceded in death by one brother Dwayne Bishop.
Dottie owned and operated Dot’s Beauty Shop. She was a member of the United Church of the Brethren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday August 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
