Canton – Carolyn K. Bishop, 76, of Canton, passed away at 4:30 am Wednesday, February 01, 2017 at Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Canton. She was born on January 13, 1941 in Alto Pass, IL. to Henry and Helen (Bridgeman) Rendleman. Carolyn married Scott Bishop on August 18, 1961 in Canton. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2014. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one brother Don Rendleman. Surviving are seven children; Tim (Barb) Bishop, Jeff Bishop, Diana Coon, Teresa Bick and Scott (Teresa) Bishop all of Canton, Pam (Charlie) Harris of Chicago and Bob (Rhonda) Bishop of St. David, eight brothers; Gary Rendleman, Jack Rendleman, Ron Rendleman, Darrell Rendleman, Matt Rendleman, Mark Rendleman, John Rendleman and Michael Newburn, step-mother Alvada Rendleman of Pekin, three sisters; Sue Schuler, Janice Gill and Jane Ann Everly, twenty-six grandchildren and thirty-eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 pm Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at White Chapel Memory Gardens. The Rev. Rebecca Gearhart will officiate. Visitation will be 2-4 pm, Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. Memorials can be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.
